Pokemon Center All 9 Eeveelution Standing Plushies Released In Japan

The Pokemon Center made a surprise release of all 9 Eeveelution standing plushies. These were not announced on the official Pokemon Center website, so it was a wonderful surprise.

Some of you may recognize these plushies from back in 2012 when the Pokemon Center released all 9 standing plushies (Eevee, Espeon, Flareon, Jolteon, Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon & Vaporeon). These are very similar, but with some small differences unique to each plushie.

For example, lets take a look at the Flareon plushie.

2018 Version

2012 Version

For the most part, they look relatively the same. Apart from the obvious tag being different, the orange body color seems darker in the new version and the yellow fur is also quite different. The eyes and ears are also slightly different as well. The 2018 version seems to also be just slightly smaller than the 2012 version.

These Eeveelution plushies were released during Obon Holiday in Japan, so they will sell out extremely fast. Make sure that you order yours today on Pokevault before they are gone for good.

My Trip To The Pokemon Center Tokyo DX And Pokemon Cafe

I finally made it to the Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo.  It took me several months, but I finally made it. After finding out that you have to make a reservation more than a month in advance, I booked my ticket to Tokyo and off I went. They do not accept walk-ins, so it is necessary to make a reservation.

Upon arriving in Tokyo, I had to figure out where the Pokemon Cafe was. I knew it was somewhere near the original Pokemon Center, but wasnt sure exactly where.

I finally found it. It is located in Hombashi inside the Takashimaya department store in which the Pokemon Center Tokyo DX is located.

It was my first time to visit the Pokemon Center Tokyo DX, so I decided to visit there first.

The place was amazing. It had glass walls to make it seem bigger than it actually was, but was really cool. I found a few iPhone cases that werent available at any of the other Pokemon Centers.

The walls in the entry way had all kinds if images from Pokemon games.

After shopping, I waited patiently outside the Pokemon Cafe which is located right next to the Pokemon Tokyo DX store. Finally my name was called and I was allowed to enter.

Upon entering I was in heaven. There was glass cases with lots of old Pokedolls that came out around the time I started collecting. Togepi, Butterfree, Suicune, OMG!!!!

Houndour, Natu, Spinda…. Ahhh I was overwhelmed. I was remembering back when I had these (Except for Houndour).

It was time to order. The menu is all Japanese, but luckily I can read it. It was such a tough decision.Do I do food or dessert, or both???

Got really cute paper placemats when I sat down.

I decided on the Pikachu platter and the Gengar dessert drink. The Pikachu plate was pretty good, but kind of for kids.  But extremely cute!!! And best of all I got to keep the plate (of course for an extra fee.

The Gengar drink was incredible!!! It was like a Dairy Queen grape Mr. Misty float.

And the best part, the eyes lit up!!! There is a light inside. Unfortunately you dont get to keep the glass,  but you can buy a different type of glass (tumbler) if you buy this drink.

When I made a reservation, I was able to buy the file folder and plush chef and waitress mascot plush keychains which are not sold anywhere (Not even in the Pokemon Center Tokyo DX). They were waiting for me at the table when I arrived. They charge your credit card ahead of time to make sure that you show up…..

On the way out I bought some cookies

The plush mascots were only available for pre-sale if you made a reservation. The tumblers and Pikachu plate were only available if you bought the platter or drink. The other items were for sale.

It was an incredible experience. I cant wait to go back…..

12 New Pokemon San-Ei Plushies & 6 Mini Plushies Released In Japan

Today the Pokemon Centers in Japan released 12 new Pokemon San-Ei plushies and 6 mini plushies.

This is the first time that they have released mini plushies other than Pikachu and Bulbasaur back in 2017.
The larger plushies were Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pachirisu, Growlithe, Azumarill, Petilil, Teddiursa and Magikarp. The mini size plushies were Pikachu, Psyduck, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Poliwag and Snorlax.

For those of you who are not familiar with San Ei plushies, they are high quality plushies made with a small amount of beans inside for balance. The quality is extremely good (even better than Pokemon Center usually), but they are slightly more expensive than other plushies of similar size. The plushies varied in price with Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur costing nearly double the normal price due to the explicit quality.

I dont expect some of these to last long, but you can still find them on Pokevault. Todays release brings the number of San-Ei plushies to over 130 with more in production.
