Espeon The Psychic Pokemon

By Anonymous

Eevee is by far one of the most popular Pokemon in the, well, Pokemon World of course! This is because of the simple fact of Eevee having over seven different evolutions. Eevee is just a normal type Pokemon, Jolteon is just an electric type Pokemon, Flareon is just a fire type Pokemon, Vaporeon is just a water type Pokemon, Umbreon is just a dark type Pokemon, Espeon is just a psychic type Pokemon, Leafeon is just a grass type Pokemon, and Glaceon is just an ice type Pokemon. What do all these have in common? Eevee! They all evolve through Eevee with an evolution stone, friendship or level up by a special rock. One of these Pokemon we’re going to take a look at is Espeon.

Espeon has four legs, much like a bigger for of Eevee, but has a lavender color. It has a red circle on it’s forehead which most likely symbolizes it’s psychic Power. Espeon also has a long fork tail, sort of like a reptile’s tongue. Espeon’s eyes are just a light purple, a bit darker then the lavender color on it’s body. Espeon has long ears, sort of like Pichu, but they are lavender and light purple on the inside. That is just a basic idea of what an Espeon looks like. Espeon is also fairly popular in battle because it has the strongest special attack stat of all the Eevee evolutions, except for maybe Glaceon who has high speciall attack as well. But Espeon has a bit more speed then Glaceon so it even outs.

The Older Pokemon Vs. The New Pokemon

By

Hello Pokemon Fans! Today I would like to discuss generation one vs. generation five. Now in my opinion I think all Pokemon games are amazing I will admit that, but all the Pokemon…not so much. First let me say this in generation one the designs of the Pokemon were outstanding! Along with the naming and battle moves. For example I will use the three starter Pokemon: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander. Now I loved fire Pokemon (along with dragons) so I chose Charmander. Now Charmander to me was a pretty sweet Pokemon due to the fact that he was almost unstoppable unless against a water type. To me his best move as we progressed was flamethrower. Then he evolved into Charmeleon! Now I was not a fan of Charmeleon but I must say he was stronger and learned even better moves.

Anyways moving on, I thought that the detail was a little bit lazy since all they did was buff Charmander up, add a horn to his head, and rename him Charmeleon. In the end though I was happy for the last evolution was Charizard. Now I was very impressed for I thought he would look like a dinosaur (T-Rex), but no I was wrong he was transformed into an orange dragon with wings. Not only was he just a fire type now but a flying type now too! I must say he was very powerful to so I applaud Game Freak and Nintendo.

The Amazing Evolutions Of Eevee Part 3

By Jo

When the Sinnoh arc came out, new ideas came with it. So many different Pokemon now had evolutions that they hadn’t had before, by methods unheard of up to that point in the games. Eevee was one of those Pokemon. Apparently, its unstable genetic code would malfunction in certain areas and actually evolve to reflect the elements. The results were pretty impressive.

One of those evolutions was Leafeon. Leafeon resembles both cats and foxes. Its brown paws (as if colored with dirt) are small and its creme colored body is slender. Its ears, tail, and forehead appear to be plants and small sprouts are seen growing in different places of its body. Apparently its leaves are quite sharp, as it is able to learn slicing attacks such as Leaf Blade and X-Scissor (though it still lacks the ability to learn the HM Cut). According to its pokedex entries, Leafeon’s cells are very similar to a plant. It sunbathes to use photosynthesis to feed itself, though it will eat leaves if it isn’t near sunlight. Leafeon also are known for cleaning the air surrounding them like plants would and they dislike fighting. Leafeon is tied with Vaporeon and Umbreon for being the tallest Eeveelution, and it shares the same footprints as Umbreon and Glaceon. Its name comes from the word ‘leaf’ and ends with the suffix ‘eon’, which is short for “evolution”, like all the other Eevee evolutions.

The Amazing Evolutions Of Eevee Part 1

By Jo

I remember when growing up, I had two favorite Pokemon out of the very first generation. One was Eevee. At the time, Eevee could evolve into three different Pokemon, which was kind of amazing back then, considering. It was unique and tiny and obnoxiously adorable. Not to mention, its evolutions weren’t too shabby either. Now that I’m older, though, I understand how valuable those evolutions really are.

First there’s Vaporeon. It’s strong, elegant, and has an incredible design. Not to mention, it has the highest HP base stats out of all of the Pokemon Eeveelutions, which would mean that it automatically has the highest max base stat out of Eevee’s seven evolutions as well. Eevee is able to evolve into Vaporeon when it’s exposed to the Water Stone. According to its pokedex entries, Vaporeon live close to water and can actually alter its molecular structure so that it is able to “melt” itself into water and become invisible. Vaporeon are often mistaken as mermaids as their tails and soft, rubbery skin are very similar to the lovely myths. Its name comes from the word ‘vapor’, which is when water is in its gaseous form, and ends with the Eeveelution suffix, ‘eon’ (short for ‘evolution’).

Pokemon Umbreon

By Anonymous

You have heard of an Eevee, that I’m sure of. Eevee is a nice Pokemon, resembles a dog, well sort of. Did you know that Eevee has seven different evolutions? I’m sure you have. There were three evolution known as Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon in the Kanto region. In Johto there is Umbreon and Espeon. There are no new Eevee evolutions in Hoenn, and in Sinnoh there is Leafeon and Glaceon. The one that we’ll take a look at is Umbreon.

Umbreon is a favorite among most people when it comes down to Eevee evolutions. Mainly because Umbreon has red eyes and is black colored, he really looks like a Pokemon you can hug and cuddle next to. Umbreon has some yellow rings throughout it’s body, I believe they glow. Umbreon is not much of a powerful fighter, he does however have defense stats that most legendaries would have. He would be a great defensive Pokemon. Now, what am I doing explaining Umbreon when you don’t even know how you can get one? By evolving Eevee of course!

Pokemon Favorites, Then and Now

By Rika24

Does anyone remember their first favorite Pokemon, and is it still your favorite? I remember that when I first watched it, Pikachu was my favorite. I still like Pikachu, but he’s nowhere near my top 10 favorites anymore. Pikachu was first knocked out of the number one spot by Charmander, then Eevee, then Charizard. As it stands now, Charizard (tied with Charmander), Jolteon, and Ninetales are my top three favorites.

I remember feeling so bad for the Charmander that was abandoned by his trainer, yet he still waited in the rain. I guess it’s the loyalty and cuteness of Charmander that made him my favorite, beating Pikachu for the top spot. Charmander is still to this day my number one favorite starter. When Charmander evolved into Charmeleon I wasn’t too happy because of how he wouldn’t listen to Ash.

Pokemon “Eeveelutions” In-Depth

By Matt

Last time, I covered the strange mystery that is an Eevee. I will be more specific on how you can get Eevee’s “Eeveelutions” through various games. Through the classic games, a Water Stone would turn Eevee into Vaporeon, the one with lots of HP. A Thunderstone will turn Eevee into Jolteon, and a Fire Stone, into Flareon. To turn Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon, you need to increase its happiness. Before time-based Pokemon games came out (time is the deciding factor for this evolution), you would need a Sun Stone for it to turn into Espeon, the sly, powerful, Psychic-type, or Umbreon, the well-rounded Dark-type.

In games like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, you would need a Solar or Lunar Ribbon, and of course, feed your Eevee some gummies for its IQ to increase. More specifically, in games (starting from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Versions) you would need to evolve Eevee between 12pm and 12am; this is considered daytime in Pokemon. On the other hand, 12am to 12pm is considered night time; it’s required you get your Eevee happy enough to turn it into Umbreon. To get the two recent forms, Leafeon and Glaceon, you would need to also make it happy, but you must be near certain stones. Since there are no places with stones in Johto/Kanto (Heart Gold and Soul Silver Versions), it’s impossible to get a Leafeon or Glaceon there; you may need to trade it from Diamond or Pearl version.

A Teenager’s View On Eevee

By Matt

Eevee is regarded by many as cute, adorable, but most of all, popular. I find myself a liking to Eevee too, since it is definitely one of a kind. Eevee, the Normal-type Evolution Pokemon, can evolve into seven different forms, each with its own strength and element. It all started with the first three:  Vaporeon, the Water-type, Jolteon, the Electric-type, and Flareon, the Fire-type. In fact, I remember seeing these on the actual TV show. Team Rocket (the original antagonists) stole Eevee, as well as its evolved companions. Ash and his group were able to catch them and send them blasting off again. Since I was pretty young, I didn’t know what they were until I heard their names.

Another encounter was when I first started playing Pokemon Coliseum. As the hero, you will start off with Espeon and Umbreon, the Psychic- and Dark-type evolutions of Eevee. The Sinnoh region is currently the most recent one to feature the last evolutions of Eevee: Leafeon and Glaceon, the Grass- and Ice-type. In the game, Eevee is very rare to come upon.

Kanto Region Pokemon Part 1

By Amanda

Charmander is a fire type starter Pokemon, known as the lizard Pokemon, and known as Hitokage in Japan. It knows strong moves like dragon rage, and flamethrower. It can evolve into Charmeleon at level 16, and then into Charizard at level 36. In the anime, Ash caught a Charmander when it was abandoned by its trainer. When it evolved into Charmeleon, it started to disobey his orders, and continued to do so when it evolved into Charizard. It wasn’t till during his adventures in the Orange Islands when Ash gained Charizards trust, and became one of Ash’s loyal Pokemon he can trust.
