A Teenager’s View On Togetic

By Matt

My second favorite Pokemon would have to be Togetic, the Happiness Pokemon! One might ask why this is; usually I just say because it makes me happy. (I’ll explain later). The first time I saw a Togetic was when I was playing Pokemon Coliseum (for the Game Cube). This is a spoiler alert for those who haven’t finished the game, so look away now:

Pokemon Trainer Zone

By Matt

When I got Pokemon White Version, I wanted to sign up for the Global Link. The site told me I had to create an account at the Pokemon Trainer’s Club. After I did, I searched around the site, looking for something to do. Although this site is kid-friendly, I didn’t mind it (being a kid at heart too) and decided to play a couple of games in the Fun Zone. The site tutorial told me that playing games earns Trainer Tokens, which can be used to spend on a number of items for your trainer sprite.

Watching episodes online (in the Animation section) can also earn Trainer Tokens. To curb the enthusiasm, however, the site only lets you earn fifteen every week, and it resets on Saturday. I don’t seem to mind, as the accessories in the store are very cheap, ranging from two to six tokens on average. For those that have been lifelong fans of the game, wallpapers are available for The site features a Pokemon TCG (Trading Card Game) part of the site filled with strategies for winning at the game, a list of all boosters released from EX Ruby and Sapphire, which was about six or seven years ago.

Pachrisu’s Click-Clack Attack Game

By Matt

This article will discuss Pachirisu’s Click-Clack Attack which can be found here.  While waiting for the Global Link to come out on March 30th, I figured; why not try a game or two in the Fun Zone? The first few games I played were very fun; I found Click-Clack Attack one of the most addicting games that took up a lot of my free time. Pachirisu’s Click-Clack Attack is a game with a simple concept: Get all the discs in the pockets; this is similar to the game of billiards.

Pokemon Tick Tock Walk Game

By Matt

Another game I stumbled upon while waiting (and still am) for the Pokemon Global Link (which will be open starting March 30th) is the Pokemon Tick-Tock Walk strategy/time-based game.

This game can be found under the Fun Zone section of the Pokemon Trainer’s Club. You can download it for free here.

The reason it is a strategy game is because placement and timing is very crucial to clearing stages. This game reminds me of Mario vs. Donkey Kong: March of the Minis (for the DS). In that game, blocks were placed so the Minis (Mario’s robots) could get items and clear stages. However, blocks would be needed so the Minis would have somewhere to cross.

Which Pokemon Will Help The Most?

By Anonymous

We have all had a rough time deciding on what starter Pokemon we want to take with us on our journey. We wonder, ‘What Pokemon will help me the most down the line?’ or, ‘will I regret picking this Pokemon?’. For your questions, I have answers. Lets begin!

Now for the first question!, ‘ Which one will help me most down the line?”. For this question I seriously recommend looking ahead on an FAQ for the first type of gym you will be facing. For example, lets say the first Gym is for the rock type. As we all know water and grass work well on rock, while fire has a weakness. Now this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t pick a fire type. Take into consideration on what creatures are available on your journey to the first gym. More often than not, there will be a whole bunch of useful creatures waiting to be caught and trained by you. Using their moves, I am positive you can get pass the first gym.

Pokemon Game Improvements

By Anonymous

We all have improvements that we believe should be made in the next Pokemon game that comes out. With so many things that have improved before because of us, why not have more changed? Today I would like to tell you all what I think should be changed so that the next Pokemon game is more enjoyable. Lets begin shall we? For once i would like to be more involved with the healing that goes on with my Pokemon. Not just by putting them on the scanner, I mean seeing what happens, how they heal them and then learning on how to use the healing machine. I would even be happy to see something cute like a close up shot of us treating our Pokemon with band-aids, just something to show exactly why are Pokemon love us when we cure them. Its the little things like this I find would make our play experience ever more enjoyable.

Exploring the Unova Region

By Anonymous

We have a beautiful new place to explore. The big and glorious Unova region. A question many of you may ask is ,’Where do I start?’. For those who do have this question on their minds, let me give you some ideas on what to do. While it may not be possible until you complete the whole game, It is still something to focus on during the adventure right? Right, okay where do we start?

Well here is an idea, why not complete the whole Pokedex? You heard right, The whole entire Pokedex of more than 500 Pokemon. “Now why on earth would I do that?’ you may be asking. My answer is, its fun and its not that difficult. Think about it, while running through the Unova region you encounter at least 90% of all of the new pokemon. Not to mention that its really easy to get the other 500+ over through the new Pokemon transfer system.

All About Pokemon Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon

By Emily

The Unova region features many Dragon type Pokemon, and the second evolutionary set from this region features Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon. These Pokemon are also some of the more difficult to evolve in the fifth generation due to high evolution level requirements. However, they have become favorites among fans and Hydreigon will even be featured in the upcoming movies.

Since only Deino is the only one of the three available in the game through regular play and is very rare, finding just one may take a good amount of time. It can only be found within the caves of Victory Road around level 40. However, the capture rate for this Pokemon is fairly high, so it should not be difficult to catch.
