How To Get Zoroark Using The Crowned Beasts

How to get Zoroark using the Crowned Beasts

The wait is over and Pokemon Black & White is now keeping you from sleeping at night. Though the excitement associated with a new Pokemon game is all I can think about, I can’t help but notice all the people that are infuriated and let-down by Pokemon Black & White. All over the internet people are fuming that, “they can’t get their Zoroark” or “Nintendo gave them a defective Event Pokemon”. Well, to those who are having trouble getting their awesome Zoroark, don’t throw your new game to the Pidgies just yet!

Pokemon Lottery Shiny Version Promo Card Sets

Back in July, 2010, there was a very rare set of Shiny Ho-oh, Lugia, Entei, Suicune and Raikou Japanese Pokemon lottery promo cards released. From April, 2010 until June 30th, 2010, entries for this special lottery contest were accepted. Only Japanese residents were allowed to enter the lottery.

All About Zoroark And Zorua Pokemon

By Emily

Zorua and Zoroark are two of the newest Pokemon from generation five, and are an incredibly unique pair. From abilities to attacks, these two bring many new aspects to the Pokemon Black and White games. These two were the main stars of the movie Zoroark – Master of Illusions, which has already aired in Japan and the United States. They are the only new characters to fully appear in the movie. They were also the first Pokemon of the newest generation to be officially revealed.

Illusion, the ability of both Zorua and Zoroark, makes them look like the last Pokemon in your party. Their attacks and such stay the same, but their appearance completely changes. With some luck, this ability can be of immense help in a battle against an in-game trainer since they may choose an attack that is not effective against the Dark type. But once these two receive a lot of damage, their Illusion ability will not work, so using them when they are at full health is the best idea. Continue reading “All About Zoroark And Zorua Pokemon”

Pokemon Call Of Legends?

Most of you have heard of the new pokemon trading card set named “Call of Legends.” This set has replaced primes and legends from the earlier sets with shinies. Shinies such as Palkia, Rayquaza, Lugia, Deoxys, Ho-Oh, and even the three legendary dogs. The shinies from these newer sets are a continuation to the older star cards. Unlike primes, these shinies are not allowed in the trading card game. Alike primes the appearance of these cards are similar, the border of a prime is holographic, same with the shinies.

This set is considered good for collectors but not so much TCG players. Some specific cards are very helpful such as lost world and lost remover which are some big deck cards for some players. This set contains 95 cards, which isn’t a big set compared to others. The cards in Call of Legends are very similar to the ones in earlier set such as HeartGold and SoulSilver and HS Undaunted.

Second Generation Shiny Pokemon Review

By Emily

Despite the second generation having the fewest Pokemon of any era past and present, it seems to have a lot of shiny Pokemon associated with it. With Gold and Silver being the first games to actually feature these unique Pokemon, it makes some sense for so many Pokemon from this era being turned into shiny events.

Events aside, many of the Pokemon are stuck with a combination of pink, purple, and blue for their shiny colors. Some Pokemon were lucky enough to have a rather good shiny form.

Starting with events, the first shiny Pokemon from this era is Pichu with the 12th movie. The Pikachu-Colored Pichu wasn’t there just for looks; the notched-ear Pichu from the movie could be obtained only if this event Pokemon was brought to the Ilex Shrine. In addition to the in-game event, the shiny Pichu also had an exclusive attack, Endeavor, which made this Pokemon even more unusual. The gold color of this Pokemon is actually a very good choice since the red of its cheeks and black of its ears and tail have a much nicer contrast.

Last Minute Event Rush

By Emily

With less than a month to go before Pokemon Black and White is available all over the world, a lot of important Pokemon events are being distributed in a very short time frame. At least one regular year’s worth of events have been crammed into only about two months, and in even less time for some countries.

Almost all of the events currently being distributed are important for getting exclusive Pokemon in Black and White. The shiny Suicune, Entei, and Raikou are necessary for being able to battle Zoroark in Illusion Forest. In the United States these event Pokemon were available at Gamestop stores across the nation. For European countries these Pokemon are being distributed one at a time over Wi-Fi and have a very short distribution time of one week per Pokemon. Since the European versions of the event are available over Wi-Fi, it gives people in the United States a second opportunity to get the events if they missed the Gamestop distributions. While we have the ability to download all three, when these events were available in Japan only one Pokemon could be obtained at a time because each Pokemon required a pre-order ticket to receive.

Tricks For Finding Hacked Pokemon

By Emily

Being a diehard shiny Pokemon fan and collector, I always like getting new shiny Pokemon from trades. However, I get very frustrated when, after checking a full box of shiny Pokemon, I find out that half of those Pokemon are hacked. Sometimes trading for the hacked Pokemon could have been avoided had I been more vigilant and looked at the most obvious signs of a hacked Pokemon. Many telltale signs exist that should be red flags, even for a novice collector.

The date and place met. Shiny Suicunes should never come from Hoenn, shiny Lugias should never be met on Route 202, and a Charizard should never, ever be captured in a Master Ball. This is very basic, but sometimes it’s useful for finding poorly hacked Pokemon. Dates that Pokemon were captured should also be looked at, especially if you get multiple Pokemon from the same person. Usually someone trading a lot of shiny Pokemon that were caught within a day or two of each other is a pretty suspicious sign.

The Hunt For Pokemon Merchandise

By Sam Clements (Almiraswolf)

I started collecting Pokemon items in 1999 when it first started to
hit the UK and become a craze. Despite the popularity, merchandise
levels started to fall within less than 3 years and it became harder
and harder to find items. The Pokemon games released every few years
would kick start the craze again but the UK never got as wide a
variety of merchandise as Japan.

When I started doing more shopping online, I began to find a variety
of sources for collecting more hard to find and exclusive items. The
biggest and perhaps most well known place to look is Ebay – with users
all over the world buying and selling collectibles (some so rare that
they can go for thousands of pounds sterling/dollars). Despite being
the biggest resource it can also be difficult to distinguish items
that are the real deal from fakes. I generally try and stick to buying
items from sellers that are located in Japan rather than say China to
try and avoid possible bootlegs.

There is a pokemon that you cant catch in pokemon black and white his name is Zoroark (Im just going to tell you about Zoroark).  Zoroark, the illusion fox pokemon:

Type: dark ability:
Illusion height:5’03”

And here’s how to catch it.
First, you need a shiny Raikou, shiny Entei and shiny Suicune.  At the special event at game stop you cannot get Raikou or Entei because that dates have already passed, but Suicune is still open. He appears on Jan 31st, 2011 through Feb 6th, 2011.

Pokemon Shiny Legendary Beast Pokedolls Lottery Prize

By Brian Grabow

The ultimate prize has come to the Pokemon Centers in Japan. Shiny versions (alternate colors) of Suicune, Entei and Raikou plush Pokedolls. These three legendary beast Pokemon plushies are absolutely gorgeous. They are different color versions from the original Pokedolls. Suicune has a light blue main instead of purple, Entei is brownish color instead of red and Raikou is orange in color with a yellow mane instead of yellow with a purple mane. They have a different color shiny tag and are absolutely gorgeous.

Now the bad news. These three beautiful plush toys are not for sale. They are the top prize in the 2010 Pokemon Center lottery. There are 400 colored marbles that are in a bingo-stlye machine. When you spend 2500 yen (about $30) at the Pokemon Center from now until mid-July, you will receive one chance to win them. The top prize is one set of all 3 legendary beast Pokemon pokedolls. The lottery consists of 4 different color marbles. White, yellow, red and blue Red is the top prize for the set of 3 pokedolls and there is only 1 red marble out of 400. So your odds of winning are 1 in 400. The blue marble is the second place and allows you to choose 1 of the 3 Pokedolls. Not sure how many, but I think less than 5 out of 400. The 3rd prize is the yellow marble and it gets you a set of shiny (alternate color) legendary beast charms.
