A Teenager’s View On Buizel

Today’s Pokemon of the day is… Buizel! Buizel has actually been one of my favorites for quite some time. The first time I saw a Buizel was when I happened to be channel surfing. An episode of Pokemon was showing, so I decided to watch it. The episode goes like this: a Buizel is stealing random stuff (I think it was fishing rods) from the people, causing Ash and Dawn, the Sinnoh heroes, to go after it. They finally catch up to it near a waterfall and find out that it is training, for no clear reason. Dawn sends her Piplup to go capture it, expecting Buizel to be a weak target. Buizel proves a tough adversary and avoids most of Piplup’s attacks. Dawn orders Piplup to use either Whirlpool or Brine, which weakens Buizel enough for her to capture it.

Pokemon Center Victini Campaign

There is a new Victini campaign at the Pokemon Centers in Japan. These items are only sold at the Pokemon Centers in Japan and not at any toy stores or anywhere else. The campaign will only last for a very short time, so hurry and get these goodies. At the moment there is a Victini plush toy, memo pad, notebook, two different clear file folders, mechanical pencil, handkerchief, Nintendo DS cartridge case and a tshirt.

Hoenn Region Pokemon Part 4

Aron is a steel and rock type Pokemon, known as the iron armor Pokemon, and known as Kokodora in Japan. It can learn strong moves like metal claw, iron head, and mud- slap. It can evolve into Lairon at level 32, and then into Aggron at level 42.

Meditite is a fighting and psychic type which is also known as the meditate Pokemon, and known as Asanan in Japan. It can learn moves like detect, hi jump kick, and confusion. It can evolve into Medicham at level 37.

Electrike is an electric type, known as the lightning Pokemon, and known as Rakurai in Japan. It can learn strong attacks like thunder fang, bite, and quick attack. It can evolve into Manectric at level 26.

All About Pokemon Mienfoo And Mienshao

Many new Fighting-type Pokemon have been introduced with the newest generation of Pokemon, half of which have a secondary typing. Of those pure Fighting-types left, Mienfoo and Mienshao are the most unusual and strategic characters. High attack and speed, coupled with an extremely useful ability and moves, make them useful as long as they aren’t hit by too many attacks.

The Regenerator ability is one of the best abilities for this Pokemon since it can learn U-Turn during level up. With this ability, up to 1/3 of the full HP of the Pokemon can be regained when they switch out, and thus they can take advantage of U-Turn’s effect. Considering that the defenses and HP of both are low, this combination is almost a staple. Inner Focus is the other possible ability, but flinching does not happen enough, especially considering that Mienshao can outrun a majority of equally- and lower-leveled opponents.

How to get Zorua using Event Celebi and the Relocator

ZoruaZorua. Everybody’s favorite little Black & White teaser Pokemon. You’ve had him dangled in front of your face by Pokemon Sunday, and perhaps you even bough his Pokedoll at the 2011 US world Tour ( I know I did). Yet, you cannot seem to get him on your game; even after spending 30 minutes sitting in front of Gamestop trying to figure out how to get your event Celebi. Well don’t be frustrated, because I have provided a guide to demonstrate how to get Celebi to your new game using the Relocator, and meet your new foxy buddy.

What do I need to get Zorua?

1. Gamestop Celebi: You will need have grabbed a Celebi from a US Gamestop before March 10, 2011. If you did not receive your Celebi and would like to purchase one please scroll to the bottom of this article. It is unverified if another Celebi will work, please comment if you know more.
2. Two Nintendo DS systems: You are required to have 2 Nintendo DS systems are also required to complete the transfer; there is also no way to use Nintendo Wi-fi to do this. You will need two DS systems in close range of each other.
3. The Pokemon Relocator Confusion about obtaining Zorua has spawned from the odd fact that the player must use the Relocator, not the Poke-shifter, to activate the event. This is why when you use the Poke-shifter to try and send the event Pokemon to your game, it won’t work

Hoenn Region Pokemon Part 3

Latios is a dragon and psychic type legendary Pokemon, known as the Eon Pokemon, and known as Ratiosu in Japan.  It has strong attacks like dragonbreath, luster purge, and psychic.  It has a special power known as sight sharing, where Latias and anyone around her can see what Latios is seeing.  Latios is always male, and is extremely fast.  In the anime, in the Pokemon move 5, Ash befriends both Latias and Latios, helping Latias save Latios and Altomare from Annie and Oakley.  They plan to use a machine that uses Latios and the Soul Dew’s power to power the machine, and controlling the town and even the world.  In the end, Latios sacrifices itself to save the town, saying good-by to Latias, and becoming a Soul Dew.

Hoenn Region Pokemon Part 2

Wurmple is a bug type, known as the worm Pokemon, and known as Kemusso in Japan.  It can only learn two moves through level up, being poison sting, and bug bite.  It has two evolution chains, depending on the time it evolves.  If it evolves during the day, it will evolve into Silcoon at level 7, and then into Beautifly at level 10.  If Wurmple evolves at night, it will evolve into Cascoon at level 7, and then into Dustox at level 10.  In the anime, May caught a Wurmple, as well as Jessie, who both wanted a Beautifly.  But later on, May’s Wurmple evolved into Silcoon while Jessie’s evolved into Cascoon, but Jessie would argue to everyone that Cascoon was Silcoon.  Soon both May’s Silcoon and Jessie’s Cascoon evolved around the same time, and Jessie finds out that she got a Dustox instead of a Beautifly, but was soon excited that she got a Dustox.

A Teenager’s View On Blitzle

When I was playing Pokemon White Version, I came across yet another strange-looking Pokemon native to Unova: Blitzle. Blitzle, which I caught with ease, proves a faithful companion in my team. An Electric-type, and classified as an Electrified Pokemon, Blitzle is a strong attacker. Basically, you could “tank” trainers you could run across by having an over-leveled Blitzle do all the work.

However, with great power comes great responsibility. Blitzle is very weak in terms of defense, because when I was raising it, it would usually get half its HP drained by a measly Quick Attack. I would go joke with my friends who have the game, “Did you catch the electric zebra, too?” They said that they caught one, but didn’t keep it in their team due to its weak defensive nature.

Team Plasma

While playing Pokemon Black and White, you are bound to come across Team Plasma. Although they sound very vague about what they want to accomplish, it is clear that they (obviously) are up to no good. When you approach the first town, you will find Team Plasma speaking to the crowd about “Liberating”Pokemon. They say that people make Pokemon suffer by using them to battle, which obviously baffles the crowd. Another point they make is that releasing Pokemon will free them from the “burdens”that the trainer has put on them. As usual, this is another vague announcement confuses the masses, while they leave to preach at another town. One could say they are some sort of group of prophets that want to spread a message before a true catastrophe happens.

A Teenager’s View On Minccino (Chillarmy)

When I was browsing Hardrock-Pokemon, I came across a strange Pokemon called Chillarmy. It didn’t look bad when I first saw it; in fact, I thought it looked kind of nice. I forgot all about it until I came across it again. This time, it was in the wild, when I was training for the Nielbasa City Gym. It was somewhere in the 20s (level), so I decided to catch it: with the first Ultra Ball I had. Of course, it worked, and I kept it, but since my team had another powerful Normal-type (Audino and Stoutland), I couldn’t keep it.

This all changed when I looked at the Pokedex app (for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad). It says that Cinccino (second stage of Minccino) has a strong base attack and speed, but weak defense and special defense. Compared to Audino, which doesn’t evolve, it is still not as strong in terms of defense, but I decided to replace it anyway. Training Minccino is a very grueling task: Since it is a basic Pokemon, it has very weak base stats. The only attacking move it had was Doubleslap, which was very ineffective.
